As Global Head of Real Estate, Wenzel leads the growth of Fiera Real Estate’s Canadian and UK platforms in key markets, with a focus on delivering attractive returns to our investors, supporting capital raising efforts, and business partnerships.

With more than 25 years of experience in the real estate industry, Wenzel has a proven track record of leading high-performing global real estate teams in Europe and Canada. Notably, during his time as Managing Director of Real Estate Investments with CPP Investments, Wenzel built and led a high-performing team of real estate professionals and scaled the business internationally.

Most recently as President of Barnhart Capital Inc., Wenzel led the firm’s cross-border real estate capital activities in Canada, Mexico, and Europe. Prior to that, he was the Chief Executive Officer of Frankfurt-based TRIUVA, a pan-European real estate investment management firm focusing on commercial real estate and infrastructure for institutional clients. Over his career, Wenzel has been involved in all aspects of real estate in most major markets throughout Canada, the US, the UK, and Asia.

Wenzel holds a Master of Science in Real Estate and Urban Land Economics from the University of Wisconsin and an MBA in International Real Estate from the University of Regensburg (Germany). He serves as independent Director and Advisor on various Real Estate investment firms in Canada and Europe as well as non-business-related organizations.
